About Marin Dobson
My training as an artist began in high school and college. In the 90’s I began to laser focus on my artwork and started training at the Art Students League of Denver. I followed this with 3.5 years of study at the Sahli School of Art which embraces the Russian Impressionist traditions as taught to Don Sahli by Sergei Bongart a wonderful Russian painter (Look him up -he’s amazing!) My education continued with a year of study with Quang Ho in his professional studies class which was a great experience that brought a new dimension to my work. My professional career began in 1998 and my paintings have since been featured in national art magazines, national and international shows around the country, many corporate collections and in several art galleries.
